VINTAGE!!!

If I had to choose my all time favorite "look" it would be a mix of Vintage one of a kinds and bohemian chic. I love mixing new finds with old treasures. Coordinate some vintage photography - It's sure to pop!

Be Distinctive.

I have found when branding your business to be as distinctive as possible. You don't want to be everything to everyone, most of all be true to yourself and let your personality shine through. Step one... stand out with an interesting and artistic head shot. Go for a head shot that is professional but also speaks to your industry. Everyone has that boring blue collar - white background shot. Liberate yourself and go for something that stands out among the rest.

Here are some concepts to consider:

Inspiring Interior Design

One of my favorite spots to have dinner in San Diego is Cuccina Urbana. Not only is the food delicious the decor is pure eye candy! I wish I knew who designed this restaurant - they deserve a shot out - if any of you reading know, please comment.

The decor is Farmhouse inspired with contemporary and sustainable elements including 100 year old reclaimed wood accents and floors, street inspired artwork and lots of fab.collectibles. Here are some images- Enjoy!

Pal + Smith!

The new Pal + Smith showroom is officially open!

I stopped in last week and was in love at first sight! This collection of fine home furnishings has been standing out in the press for quite some time. It is unreal to see the full collection and ultimate vision of Mark and Melissa Palazzo in person. Orange County has been lacking this eccentric hip lifestyle - No longer!

Here are some GREAT shots I took during my visit. To order visit my website @ www.MaeganSwabb.com

Where to shop for home decor in San Diego

Seaside Home
New Location and New Look!

Seaside Home has been one of the major staples in San Diego for home decor many years running. With the new showroom open in La Jolla's old Saks Building (next to Brook Brothers.) it might be the best. This one stop shop has stunning accessories, antiques, very comfortable and stylish furniture to choose from as well as lighting and table top! I think I even noticed some outdoor collections making its way in the back door.

I am very excited about this showroom and resource. Here are some snap shots I took while visiting last week.
