Where to shop for home decor in San Diego

Seaside Home
New Location and New Look!

Seaside Home has been one of the major staples in San Diego for home decor many years running. With the new showroom open in La Jolla's old Saks Building (next to Brook Brothers.) it might be the best. This one stop shop has stunning accessories, antiques, very comfortable and stylish furniture to choose from as well as lighting and table top! I think I even noticed some outdoor collections making its way in the back door.

I am very excited about this showroom and resource. Here are some snap shots I took while visiting last week.

Brit week recap!

I was only able to make it to the Andrew Martin event @ the PDC for Brit week, last. From the word on the streets however, that was the event not to have missed, so I planned accordingly!

The Panel starring  British influencer's including director/producer Michael Apted, actress Minnie Driver, interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard, and writer Anthony Haden-Guest discussed the cross-pollination of design, art, fashion, and entertainment. The conversation of course started with the debate over the royal wedding - Tasteful or Tacky.. Most agreed it was lacking a bit of taste.

The overall spirit of the discussion was based on the British meets L.A. perspective of these fine influencer's. Each agreed, what they love most about L.A. is the eccentric energy and lifestyle- How you can build whatever your heart desires, if you want a UFO looking home in the hills of Hollywood- Its yours.

Here are some pictures of the PDC Andrew Martin showroom. Enjoy!
